When the color has left the landscape in the cold months of late fall, I like to look at the skies because suddenly the attention shifts and you can see all the subtleties in the color notes of sunset an sunrises so much more vividly. And the majestic look of the red-shouldered hawk sets the inspiration for the strength and stamina needed to withstand the rough and cold months of coming winter.
